Kroger Fort Worth Remodel

The Kroger store located at Beach Street and Western Center Boulevard received a facelift in Winter 2017-18. The store got new finishes and new décor throughout. The customer restrooms located at the front of the store were completely remodeled, including receiving all new walls, tile, fixtures and paint.

The deli area was expanded and the sushi island was relocated in line with the deli cases. Refrigerated island cases were put in its old location. One of the challenges we faced was ensuring the deli was operational during the expansion construction process. We moved all the deli cases out onto the sales floor temporarily. We temped an oven from the deli into the bakery area and removed all the equipment from the deli. We demoed the floor and gave the deli a new epoxy floor and completed the deli with all new finishes.

The doors in the entry vestibule were replaced, as was the carpet. New dairy cases, deli cases, and other various cases were received and set by us. The store received all new u-scans, or self-checkout stands. New sinks were installed in the produce area, and the tortillaria was relocated and the ceiling was patched in the Bakery. The employee lunch room received all new finishes and furniture. In the middle of this project was a three-week reset.

Finally, a Clicklist was added to this store. We built a demising wall and relocated the existing wall units and shelving. A new HVAC system, new lighting and new finishes were installed throughout. Jay H received and installed all equipment and refrigerated cases. We removed and replaced all ADA ramps on the exterior and installed new parking and signage. Finally, we re-caulked all the expansion joints on the exterior of the building. This project took three months, plus the additional three weeks for the Clicklist, which occurred after the re-Grand Opening.
